AINO Indonesia Expands E-Money Ecosystem in Jakarta

big-14226969191-aino_perluas_ekosistem_unik_di_jakarta_1 (1)Since The National Non-Cash Movement launched by Bank of Indonesia (BI) in 2014, several large cities in Indonesia are starting to develop electronic money (eMoney) as an alternative of cash payment. In Jakarta, public based services of Transjakarta (public transportation) was the first project using eMoney as the method of tickets payment in 2014. Later in 2015, eMoney based parking applied at Sabang street, followed by Falatehan street and Kelapa Gading.

The Governor of Jakarta, Basuki Tjahja Purnama has stated his plan on several occasions about issuing eMoney-based card which can be used as multi-function instrument of transaction in public services in Jakarta. Therefor, in the beginning of 2016, an act of developing integration has been conducted whereas Jakcard which used in Transjakarta, can now be used in Taman Margasatwa Ragunan (Ragunan Wildlife Park).

In 10 February 2016, a kick off meeting has been conducted and several institutions invited to join such Bank of DKI, AINO Indonesia, Iforte and Kartuku as company that develop e-Ticketing system. The purpose of kick off meeting is to ensure the readiness of infrastructure and TMR e-Ticketing system.

AINO Indonesia acted as an integrator of payment devices usage that able to accept eMoney multi issuer and back-end actions.
